2006 - 2011 : Air Operator Certification of a starter Airline with Airbus A320 fleet

Recruited to commence the Airline Operations, starting with the process for the Air Operator Certification AOC, and the delivery of the First Aircraft and the initialisation of the Airlines own MRO, and then leading a team of 8 engineers and 4 trainees to manage all "Planning & Engineering" activities including the preparation of the Maintenance program.

Also developed an IT system to link the Operational database with the technical database to formulate strategy and direct the development of long term maintenance plans , heavy maintenance plan and short term maintenance plans for The Airline’s fleet, for the purpose of supporting "Commercial Operating Plan" while complying with "Maintenance Schedules" requirements.

Aircraft Transfer

2011 : 3 Airbus A320 return to lessor

Recruited to oversee/ review and manage all technical aspects of the return of the 3 Aircraft from operator in the middle east to the Lessor . The project involved:

  • Aircraft Inspections, Checks call ups
  • Completion of Technical Reports
  • Managing De-Registration / Registration and the Delivery Binder.

The project successfully returned the 3 Aircraft to the leasing company despite the unstable situation of the lessee country due to uprising revolution.

Aircraft Storage management for the Leasing Company

2012 : Airbus A320 , A340 , Boeing 777 End of Lease and Storage management

Recruited to oversee/ review and manage all technical aspects of the transfer of the Aircraft between operators for ILFC in Ireland. This role involves:

 

  • Aircraft Inspections, Checks call ups
  • Completion of Technical Reports
  • Preparation of Estoppels and Return Acceptance Certificate Attachments
  • Managing De-Registration / Registration,
  • The Delivery Binder
  • Cross-check of Return Conditions to Aircraft Status

Technical Services

2012-2019 : Airbus 320 and Fokker 100 Technical services , Reliability and Maintenance program Approvals for Australian Airline

Recruited To provide key support to the Head of Airworthiness and Maintenance control and Maintenance Controller/s including:

  • Aircraft Inspections, Checks call ups
  • Review and assess incoming technical literature.
  • Make recommendations arising from technical assessments
  • In consultation with the HAAMC monitor long standing defects for rectification actions
  • Carry out special projects related to enhancing the technical status of the fleet
  • Perform investigative work into problems as requested by the aircraft maintenance department, reliability engineers and/or manufacturers, identifying the causes and where necessary, make recommendations
  • In consultation with the Reliability Program monitor engine trends on a weekly basis for performance deterioration by evidence of data and make recommendations to production regarding investigative/rectification actions
  • Liaise with OEM's and vendors as required
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the Technical Services Manager
  • Liaise with the CASR 21 M delegates for the provision of Engineering Orders when required for repair to damaged or unserviceable aircraft
  • Monitor aircraft maintenance outcomes for adverse trends developing in aircraft systems, components and structures;
  • Monitor and actively pursue information from maintenance personnel and flight crew regarding continuing airworthiness information contributing to adverse trends in reliability;
  • Liaise with Tech Services Engineers for the analysis of continuing airworthiness information and trending data;
  • Initiate and assist Tech Services Engineers to coordinate investigations and root cause analysis into unserviceabilities contributing to adverse trends in reliability;
  • Make recommendations regarding the continued use of otherwise of vendors and suppliers based on the reliability of goods and services provided by them;
  • Liaise with the Airworthiness Review Group with regard to reliability system performance, integrity, reporting and administration;
  • Provide aircraft and aeronautical product reliability information to the Technical Review Committee and other forums;
  • Actively participate in policy and process review and make recommendations for improvements;
  • Report all safety incidents and quality deficiencies in accordance with the Safety Management System and the Part 42 Exposition.
  • Participate and actively cooperate with all internal and external auditors.

Recruited to oversee/ review and manage all technical aspects of the return of the 5 Aircraft from operator in Australia to the Lessor . The project involved:

  • Managing De-Registration / Registration and the Delivery Binder.

The project successfully returned the 5 Aircraft to the leasing company despite the unstable situation of the lessee due to COVID-19 constrains.
